With a capacity of 48,000 m3 , our terminal covers a surface of approximately 5 hectares and is strategically located in kilometer 343 of Río Paraná, in waterway Paraná-Paraguay. It can be easily accessed through Ruta Nacional 188 and it is only 6 kilometers from Autopista Buenos Aires-Rosario- Santa Fe, with connection to the core productive area of the country.
We have a first group of tanks for commodities which is composed of:
· 1 unit of 3.500 m3
· 1 unit of 4.700 m3
· 12 units of 2.500 m3
We also have a second group of tanks designed for industrial chemicals and oils which is composed of:
· 1 unit of 1.500 m3
· 1 unit of 600 m3
· 4 units of 1.100 m3
· 4 units of 740 m3
· 3 units of 340 m3
Furthermore, there is a series of smaller tanks used for auxiliary operations.
The tank area is linked to the loading or unloading docks through a rack composed of
8", 6" and 4" carbon and stainless steel pipes. This is complemented by compressed
air and flushing auxiliary lines.
Pamsa carries out its operations of loading and uploading products in vessels or barges in San Nicolás Port, in Elevador Dock. As an alternative berth, Pamsa can operate in Nuevo Puerto Dock in the south area of San Nicolás. This port is located on the right side of Río Parana and is located strategically in kilometer 350 of Río Paraná, in Hidrovía Paraná-Paraguay. Along the navigation route from the Ocean to San Nicolás Port, the navigation channel is approximately 80 to 100 metres wide and a draught of 34 feet (10.35metres) almost all year round.
Six bitts, two of them located in the mooring towers (bitt 1 and 6), a distance between them of 220.80m y four bitts in Dolphines (bitts 2, 3, 4 & 5) with a distance of 135m between them. The Dolphines have trapezoidal defences support for vessels and for barges have pneumatic rubber fenders. A pipe and pumping system allow us to send and receive different products simultaneously from shore to tanks. This system also contains extra pipes for compressed air and Nitrogen, a sweep system “polly pig” as well. We also provide services of water supply and lighting to vessels.
Our terminal has 16 fixed dispatch stations of different products:
· 2 for loading and unloading oils with ventral or lower connection.
· 4 for fueling water tanks with filler nozzles and flow meters.
· 5 multiple stations (simultaneous ventral connection of several trucks) to download alcohol, oils and other products.
Each of these stations has independent pumping and safety systems properly serviced.
Our terminal is approved as a tax warehouse and certified by the Dirección General de
Aduanas (General Customs Department). Therefore, its tanks are authorized to perform
commercial import and export activities of bulk liquids.
The facilities comply with all the requirements for storage and dispatch of flammable and
dangerous substances and they are audited and certified annually by the Ministry of Energy
and Mining of Argentina.
Customs operations are executed by using the fiscal scale of trucks with a capacity of 80
tones and 24 meters or through level measurements in the tanks. In both cases, the terminal
has the certifications of the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI) [National
institute of industrial technology].
PAMSA Integrated Logistics and Organization has a quality management system certified by the Bureau Veritas Certification – Bureau Veritas Argentina S.A – in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 regulations. Scope of Certification: Reception, Storage and Delivery of Bulk Liquids: Alcohols, Light Fuels, Mineral Oils, Vegetable Oils, Organic Solvents and Fertilizer
Last December we received the Safety and Quality Inspection from Chemical Distribution Institute - Terminal for the third consecutive time. This is a british organism that aims at improving safety and quality standards . This organism is one of the most important storage terminals of liquid material in bulk in the world.
